Intellectual Property
Introduction

In developed countries, the production of science and knowledge is one of the important goals of universities and scientific institutions. In this regard, the concept of intellectual property has been created with the aim of encouraging people to innovate and protect the right to benefit from their thoughts and creativity, which can have both economic and spiritual outcomes. In addition to helping the idea owners, this will also contribute greatly to the economic growth of universities, organizations, and countries. In fact, lack of familiarity with intellectual property laws at the national and international scale causes irreparable material and moral damages. This can lead to disclosure of technology and inventions and their abuse by profiteers without paying for the ideas and thoughts of their real owners. Therefore, the codification of intellectual property policies and laws is one of the most important steps to succeeding in research commercialization.
